This small 2.5 kW photovoltaic system was installed on the flat roof of a residential building in Switzerland. Thanks to the Sun Ballast racking system, the installation was carried out in an easy and fast manner, without any risk of damaging the membrane layer on the roof. The concrete ballasts do not require any roof penetration, and can be easily mounted on flat surfaces made of any material.

The Single-Row mounting system is available in a range of tilt angles from 0° to 30°, and allows complete flexibility in adjusting the row length and spacing, giving designers and installers the freedom to plan the layout of the photovoltaic system according to roof obstacles and building features. In this case, the 10° concrete ballasts were also arranged in an East-West opposing orientation: depending on specific needs, the Sun Ballast support structures can be assembled in various configurations, providing a simple and effective solution for every requirement.

Sun Ballast ballasts also come pre-equipped with M8 bushings for module fixation, and are suitable for both small residential systems and large industrial installations, even when using large-sized panels.
