This 20 kW photovoltaic system was installed by Sonnen S.r.l. on a school building in Moliterno, located in the province of Potenza. Thanks to the Sun Ballast mounting systems for flat roofs, the installation process was significantly simplified.

The 10° Single-Row system allowed the panels to be fixed without penetrating the roof, ensuring that all protective features of the building coverage remained intact. This innovative approach not only reduces installation time and costs but also eliminates common issues associated with roof penetration, such as water infiltration. The Single-Row system offers fully adjustable row length and spacing, making it easy to adapt the layout to the building’s floor plan.

The 10° Single-Row system is highly versatile, allowing panels to be mounted both on their long and short sides. In this installation, both configurations were used. It is available in a wide range of tilt angles, from 3° to 30°, and is compatible with Cablowind. In this project, Cablowind can be seen on the rear side of the ballasts. This specialized concrete cable channel not only enhances the system’s stability but also provides a secure housing for electrical cables, ensuring a safer and more professional installation.
