19 kWp
11.2°
Installed in Inselwelt, Austria, by our client PHV Solarbetriebs—with essential support from Enerix—this photovoltaic system was built using Sun Ballast’s East-West 11°.2 photovoltaic structures. Thanks to their simplicity, the installation process was quick and straightforward.
The photovoltaic ballasts are placed directly on the roof without any perforation and can be applied to any material. In this system, the structures were positioned on a flat surface with an East-West orientation. This configuration allows free adjustment of row length, spacing, exposure, and panel fixation sides.
For the 19 kW installation shown in the photos, the modules were mounted in landscape orientation (on the shorter side). The mounting system’s flexibility made it easy to adapt the installation to the roof’s layout. Like all Sun Ballast systems, the East-West ballasts include pre-inserted M8 bushings for clamp fixation and a metal core for extra reinforcement, ensuring a reliable and durable support system.
