They provide high wind resistance while simply resting on the surface, acting both as ballast weight and as a support structure.
This makes the installation of photovoltaic systems on flat surfaces significantly easier and faster. The 20 kW system shown in the photo was installed in Spain on a layer of compacted gravel laid over tamped earth—an approach that increases the overall stability of the installation.
The Single-Row mounting system, used here with a 30° tilt angle, is also available in 0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 15°, and 20° versions. It offers complete flexibility in both row spacing and row length, allowing for highly adaptable design and installation processes.
Like all Sun Ballast concrete support structures, the components used in this system include pre-integrated M8 threaded bushings for quick and secure panel fixation. Reinforced with a metal core, they are built to deliver long-term performance and are backed by a 25-year warranty.
