This 10 kW photovoltaic system was installed in Syracuse on the flat roof of a residential building. The Sun Ballast ballast support structures allowed for easy and fast mounting without causing any damage to the pavement.

The Single-Row 10° mounting system – also available with tilt angles of 0°, 3°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30° – enabled fixation of the panels without any penetration on the cover, while ensuring high wind resistance and durability against all weather conditions. The Single-Row ballast weights also allow free adjustment of both the length and spacing between the rows of panels, greatly simplifying the management of roof obstacles.

Moreover, the Single-Row 10° system allows for panel fixation along the long side (as in this installation) or the short side and is compatible with many Sun Ballast accessories. In this installation, for example, the Cablowind is clearly visible: a special channel that combines in a single component the function of additional weight and the cable bushing, mounted on the rear part of the ballast weights.

To further enhance wind resistance and stability, several U-Blocks were also added. These are supplemental concrete weights of 15 or 30 kg that can be quickly placed either on the Cablowind or directly on the metal core/rebar reinforced ballast bodies.
