This 27 kW photovoltaic system on a flat roof was installed by our client Elettrodomus on a beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Garda (in Torri del Benaco, Verona). Thanks to Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic mounting structures, the installation was completed quickly and easily.

The ballast system for photovoltaics does not require any roof penetration, and the installation process is extremely fast even on gravel flat roofs: simply place the ballast on the gravel or the underlying roof layer and proceed with the module installation.

The 3° Single-Row system used for this project also allows for adjustable row length and spacing, making it easy to manage roof obstacles. The Monofila support structures are available in a range of tilt angles (from 0° to 30°), and can be used to mount panels either in portrait or landscape orientation, as in this case.

Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic mounting systems, the Single-Row 3° concrete ballasts used on this hotel include M8 fixation bushings and an extra metal reinforcement bar, making the installation of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs much simpler, faster, and more professional.
