This approximately 20 kW PV system was installed by our client Alia s.r.l. on the flat roof of a building in Rudiano (Brescia). The use of Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel structures allowed for the project to be completed quickly and without complications. The concrete ballasts make installation much simpler and faster—even on gravel roofs—by avoiding the use of complex accessories and simplifying all mounting operations.
The installation of the photovoltaic structures requires no drilling: simply lay the structure, place the panel, secure the clamps to the sockets—already pre-inserted into the concrete—and proceed with the electrical connections. The 10° Single-Row system used for this installation also made it much easier to manage obstacles and the unique geometry of the roof. The independent row system allows for quick adjustments to both the length and the distance between the rows, adapting the system configuration to the specific characteristics of the building.
The Single-Row system is available in a wide range of inclinations—from 0° to 30°—and can be used in both landscape and portrait modes: securing on the long side can sometimes be the most appropriate solution, and with the Single-Row system, ease of installation and wind resistance are always guaranteed.
