Durable, quick to assemble and UL2703 certified: the Sun Ballast racking systems make installing industrial solar much simpler, installation times are reduced while ensuring the panels remain stable. The ballasted racking systems combine both the racking and the ballast in a single component; this way all the waste of time and difficulties faced when using traditional metal racking systems are avoided, and since no penetrations are needed, the protective characteristics of the roofing material are not damaged in any way.

This beautiful 135 kW system was installed in Colchester (Vermont, USA) by our customer Aegis Renewable Energy Inc., using two different versions of the Connect system, in 5° and 15° inclinations: the ballasted racking systems are available in different weights and inclinations, and can accomodate any solar installation on a flat roof.

The Connect system is compatible with all panel models, and based on the size, support parameters and specific project requirements, the modules can be clamped in multiple spots by adding central ballasts, maximizing resistance to atmospheric conditions. All the ballasted racking is inter-connected in a single network of structures, allowing the load on the roof to be evenly distributed throughout, while the versatility of the system (and no roof penetrations) makes managing obstacles much faster.

All Sun Ballast racking systems are made of high quality concrete, and thanks to the low porosity of the material they guarantee a very long life even in areas subject to heavy rainfall or temperature changes.
