Designed to ensure an easy and fast installation on any type of building with a flat roof, Sun Ballast mounting systems for photovoltaic panels make the mounting phases significantly quicker.
This 12 kW photovoltaic plant was built in Switzerland, and the concrete ballasts made it possible to complete all the installation steps without any difficulty and with minimal labor costs.

Ballasted systems by Sun Ballast act both as weight distribution/load-bearing elements and as support structures for the panels, and they are installed without any roof penetration and without damaging the building coverage in any way. In the case of gravel surfaces, the ballasts can be placed directly on the surface, or – as in this case – on the membrane layer underneath the gravel.

The 10° Single-Row system visible in this installation – also available with tilt angles of 0°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30° – allows for flexible adjustment of both the row length and spacing between rows, making it much easier to manage potential roof obstacles (such as chimneys, skylights, etc.), even during the design phase.

All Sun Ballast ballasts for photovoltaic systems are pre-equipped with threaded bushings for the fixation of clamps, come with a 25-year guarantee, and ensure maximum reliability, resistance to corrosion, and longevity for the entire photovoltaic system.
