In San Leonardo in Passiria, Italy, Pro Watt Photovoltaic installed a 38.2 kWp PV system on gravel using the Sun Ballast Zero System, selected to maximize the available space while maintaining a high degree of flexibility in the system layout.

With the modules installed at a 0° tilt, the Zero System creates a coplanar surface, eliminating the spacing between panels and therefore limiting mutual shading. This configuration makes it possible to use the available area more efficiently, particularly in projects where space optimization is a key design requirement.

One of the main strengths of the Zero System is its versatility: modules can be secured along either the long or short side, providing greater design freedom and allowing the structure to accommodate panels of different sizes.

The structures can also be connected to create an interconnected grid, a configuration that provides high wind resistance while distributing loads evenly throughout the system.

For this project, a 0° ground-mounted configuration was selected, combining straightforward installation with flexibility in module arrangement. The Zero System is also available in different heights, further expanding the range of possible configurations according to the requirements of each project.

The result is a solution that combines space optimization, versatility, and stability, giving installers a practical structure that can adapt to different layouts without making installation more complex
