This 192.6 kWp photovoltaic system was installed on a green roof in Geneva, Switzerland, using the Sun Ballast East-West System with a 10° tilt.

The East-West configuration allows the ballast blocks to be arranged in a way that optimizes space management and reduces shading. The system can also be connected using specific plates, increasing stability under wind loads and providing a stable and modular solution.

For this project, the Sun Ballast Technical Department supported Tera solar SA in adapting the solution to the system requirements, simplifying both design and installation while ensuring compliance with SIA 2062.

The East-West orientation also helps increase self-consumption performance and optimize purchasing costs, providing a versatile solution even for more complex projects.
