In Molini, UNOSOLARE SRL installed a 25 kWp photovoltaic system on a waterproof membrane roof using Sun Ballast’s Connect 5° system, designed to provide stability and resistance while keeping roof loads low.

The patented Connect structure links the ballast blocks together to form a single continuous grid, capable of distributing the loads evenly across the entire surface of the photovoltaic system. This configuration increases the overall stability of the structure and ensures high resistance to wind loads, without excessively increasing the load on the roof.

Another important advantage concerns installation: the system allows for quick installation without drilling, avoiding direct intervention on the waterproofing membrane and helping to preserve its continuity.
