This 33 kW photovoltaic system was installed on a flat roof in Mantua. Thanks to the Sun Ballast support structure, the installation was completed without any penetration of the membrane covering the roof.

The 10° Single-Row mounting system – also available in a range of tilt angles including 0°, 3°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30° – enabled the fixation of photovoltaic panels without drilling into the roofing. This significantly reduces installation time and cost, while preserving all insulating and protective properties of the roof covering.
In addition, handling the concrete ballasts is much easier, both during installation and future maintenance or revamping operations. The Single-Row system offers full modularity in both row length and spacing, allowing for a flexible layout design of the PV system.

This makes managing roof obstacles and shading faster and more efficient. The ballasts used in the Monofila system – as in all Sun Ballast weighted racking systems – are pre-equipped with M8 bushings for easy module fixation, and provide a high level of wind resistance and resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-term stability under all weather conditions.
