This 400 kW photovoltaic plant was installed in Rivoli, in the province of Turin, by our client Più Sicurezza, and the use of Sun Ballast mounting systems for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs made every stage of the installation easier and faster.

The 10° Single-Row system – also available with a range of tilt angles: 0°, 3°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30° – made it possible to secure the panels with no roof penetration: the Sun Ballast support structures are simply placed on the building coverage, allowing for reduced mounting time and lower installation costs. With the Single-Row system, both the row length and spacing between rows are fully adjustable, making design and installation significantly easier, even in the presence of many roof obstacles.

And what about large-size panels? No problem: thanks to the addition of No-Flex, it is possible to ensure the highest level of stability and wind resistance even for the largest modules.
This accessory, composed of an additional ballast for photovoltaic systems and a special metal bracket, allows fixation at two extra points in the central part of the module, providing six support points and bringing the risk of bending or panel flexion to zero.

The No-Flex Kit can be used with all systems where the panel is installed in a horizontal (landscape) position, and it complies with support parameters, thus ensuring that the warranty on the modules remains valid. Like all Sun Ballast concrete support structures, those used in this system also come pre-equipped with M8 bushings for fixation, and are installed easily and quickly on any type of flat roof, including membrane, pavement, gravel, green roof, or ground, using protective rubber mats if needed.
